Shake, Rattle and Roll - Recent Earthquakes Map

Posted by Picasa

Just a little aside for map junkies... The USGS (United States Geological Survey) has a regularly updated map that shows recent earthquake activity around the world. Now while it is logical when you consider plate tectonics, it's rather scary that the vast majority of earthquakes seem to be taking place along coastlines rather than, say, in the middle of the ocean.
